Correctional facility laundry reference

One of our Australian distributors , Aqualogic, shared a great laundry project. One of the country’s largest correctional facilities has built a new complex, including an on-premise laundry. The Aqualogic team worked closely together with the laundry consultant and helped developed the design, to make the laundry efficient, safe and practical.

The installation was determined on the number of inmates and projected throughput. Softmount washers were recommended because they reduce water retention, and therefore the drying time required. This was particularly necessary because correctional personals are washed and dried in individual mesh bags, adding to the drying time.

The correctional laundry features 7 IPSO IY600 60 kg large softmount washers, 7 IPSO DR200 83 kg large dyers.

The staff got trained by the Aqualogic team, to help them deliver a consistent standard of quality, improved productivity and increased efficiency.
